SHOFTIM /Judges

Shabbat Shalom!

Welcome to Parasha SHOFTIM /Judges, this week’s Torah portion.

Torah Reading

Deuteronomy 16:18–21:9;

18 “You are to appoint judges and officers for all your gates [in the cities] YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you, tribe by tribe; and they are to judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 You are not to distort justice or show favoritism, and you are not to accept a bribe, for a gift blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of even the upright. 20 Justice, only justice, you must pursue; so that you will live and inherit the land YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you.

21 “You are not to plant any sort of tree as a sacred pole beside the altar of YAHUVEH your ELOHIM that you will make for yourselves. 22 Likewise, do not set up a standing-stone; YAHUVEH your ELOHIM hates such things.

17 “You are not to sacrifice to YAHUVEH your ELOHIM a cow or sheep that has a defect or anything wrong with it; that would be an abomination to YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.

2 “If there is found among you, within any of your gates [in any city] that YAHUVEH your ELOHIM gives you, a man or woman who does what YAHUVEH your ELOHIM sees as wicked, transgressing his covenant 3 by going and serving other gods and worshipping them, the sun, the moon, or anything in the sky — something I have forbidden — 4 and it is told to you, or you hear about it; then you are to investigate the matter diligently. If it is true, if it is confirmed that such detestable things are being done in Isra’el; 5 then you are to bring the man or woman who has done this wicked thing to your city gates, and stone that man or woman to death. 6 The death sentence is to be carried out only if there was testimony from two or three witnesses; he may not be sentenced to death on the testimony of only one witness. 7 The witnesses are to be the first to stone him to death; afterwards, all the people are to stone him. Thus you will put an end to this wickedness among you.

8 “If a case comes before you at your city gate which is too difficult for you to judge, concerning bloodshed, civil suit, personal injury or any other controversial issue; you are to get up, go to the place which YAHUVEH your ELOHIM will choose, 9 and appear before the cohanim, who are L’vi’im, and the judge in office at the time. Seek their opinion, and they will render a verdict for you. 10 You will then act according to what they have told you there in that place which YAHUVEH will choose; you are to take care to act according to all their instructions. 11 In accordance with the Torah they teach you, you are to carry out the judgment they render, not turning aside to the right or the left from the verdict they declare to you. 12 Anyone presumptuous enough not to pay attention to the cohen appointed there to serve YAHUVEH your ELOHIM or to the judge — that person must die. Thus you will exterminate such wickedness from Isra’el — 13 all the people will hear about it and be afraid to continue acting presumptuously.

(ii) 14 “When you have entered the land YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you, have taken possession of it and are living there, you may say, ‘I want to have a king over me, like all the other nations around me.’ 15 In that event, you must appoint as king the one whom YAHUVEH your ELOHIM will choose. He must be one of your kinsmen, this king you appoint over you — you are forbidden to appoint a foreigner over you who is not your kinsman. 16 However, he is not to acquire many horses for himself or have the people return to Egypt to obtain more horses, inasmuch as YAHUVEH told you never to go back that way again. 17 Likewise, he is not to acquire many wives for himself, so that his heart will not turn away; and he is not to acquire excessive quantities of silver and gold.

18 “When he has come to occupy the throne of his kingdom, he is to write a copy of this Torah for himself in a scroll, from the one the cohanim and L’vi’im use. 19 It is to remain with him, and he is to read in it every day, as long as he lives; so that he will learn to fear YAHUVEH his ELOHIM and keep all the words of this Torah and these laws and obey them; 20 so that he will not think he is better than his kinsmen; and so that he will not turn aside either to the right or to the left from the mitzvah. In this way he will prolong his own reign and that of his children in Isra’el.

18 (iii) The cohanim, who are L’vi’im, and indeed the whole tribe of Levi, is not to have a share or an inheritance with Isra’el. Instead, their support will come from the food offered by fire to YAHUVEH and from whatever else becomes his. 2 They will have no inheritance with their brothers, because YAHUVEH is their inheritance — as he has said to them.

3 “The cohanim will have the right to receive from the people, from those offering a sacrifice, whether ox or sheep, the shoulder, the jowls and the stomach. 4 You will also give him the firstfruits of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep. 5 For YAHUVEH your ELOHIM has chosen him from all your tribes to stand and serve in the name of YAHUVEH, him and his sons forever.

(iv) 6 “If a Levi from one of your towns anywhere in Isra’el where he is living comes, highly motivated, to the place which YAHUVEH will choose, 7 then he will serve there in the name of YAHUVEH his ELOHIM, just like his kinsmen the L’vi’im who stand and serve in the presence of YAHUVEH. 8 Such a Levi will receive the same share as they do, in addition to what he may receive from selling his inherited ancestral property.

9 “When you enter the land YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you, you are not to learn how to follow the abominable practices of those nations. 10 There must not be found among you anyone who makes his son or daughter pass through fire, a diviner, a soothsayer, an enchanter, a sorcerer, 11 a spell-caster, a consulter of ghosts or spirits, or a necromancer. 12 For whoever does these things is detestable to YAHUVEH, and because of these abominations YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is driving them out ahead of you. 13 You must be wholehearted with YAHUVEH your ELOHIM. (v) 14 For these nations, which you are about to dispossess, listen to soothsayers and diviners; but you, YAHUVEH your ELOHIM does not allow you to do this.

15 “YAHUVEH will raise up for you a prophet like me from among yourselves, from your own kinsmen. You are to pay attention to him, 16 just as when you were assembled at Horev and requested YAHUVEH your ELOHIM, ‘Don’t let me hear the voice of YAHUVEH my ELOHIM any more, or let me see this great fire ever again; if I do, I will die!’ 17 On that occasion YAHUVEH said to me, ‘They are right in what they are saying. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their kinsmen. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I order him. 19 Whoever doesn’t listen to my words, which he will speak in my name, will have to account for himself to me.

20 “‘But if a prophet presumptuously speaks a word in my name which I didn’t order him to say, or if he speaks in the name of other gods, then that prophet must die.’ 21 You may be wondering, ‘How are we to know if a word has not been spoken by YAHUVEH?’ 22 When a prophet speaks in the name of YAHUVEH, and the prediction does not come true — that is, the word is not fulfilled — then YAHUVEH did not speak that word. The prophet who said it spoke presumptuously; you have nothing to fear from him.

19 “When YAHUVEH your ELOHIM cuts off the nations whose land YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you, and you take their place and settle in their cities and houses, 2 you are to set aside three cities for yourselves in your land that YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you to possess. 3 Divide the territory of your land, which YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is having you inherit, into three parts; and prepare the roads, so that any killer can flee to these cities. 4 The killer who will live if he flees there is someone who has killed his fellow member of the community by mistake, who did not hate him in the past. 5 An example would be if a man goes into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood and takes a stroke with the axe to fell a tree, but the head of the axe flies off the handle, hits his neighbor and kills him. Then he is to flee to one of these cities and live there. 6 Otherwise the next-of-kin avenger, in the heat of his anger, may pursue the killer, overtake him because the distance [to the city of refuge] is long, and strike him dead — even though he didn’t deserve to die, inasmuch as he hadn’t hated him in the past. 7 This is why I am ordering you to set aside for yourselves three cities.

8 “If YAHUVEH your ELOHIM expands your territory, as he swore to your ancestors that he would, and gives you all the land he promised to give to your ancestors — 9 provided you keep and observe all these mitzvot I am giving you today, loving YAHUVEH your ELOHIM and always following his ways — then you are to add three more cities for yourselves, besides these three; 10 so that innocent blood will not be shed in the land YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you as an inheritance, and thus blood guilt be on you.

11 “However, if someone hates his fellow member of the community, lies in wait for him, attacks him, strikes him a death blow, and then flees into one of these cities; 12 then the leaders of his own town are to send and bring him back from there and hand him over to the next-of-kin avenger, to be put to death. 13 You are not to pity him. Rather, you must put an end to the shedding of innocent blood in Isra’el. Then things will go well with you.

(vi) 14 “You are not to move your neighbor’s boundary marker from the place where people put it long ago, in the inheritance soon to be yours in the land YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you to possess.

15 “One witness alone will not be sufficient to convict a person of any offense or sin of any kind; the matter will be established only if there are two or three witnesses testifying against him.

16 “If a malicious witness comes forward and gives false testimony against someone, 17 then both the men involved in the controversy are to stand before YAHUVEH, before the cohanim and the judges in office at the time. 18 The judges are to investigate carefully. If they find that the witness is lying and has given false testimony against his brother, 19 you are to do to him what he intended to do to his brother. In this way, you will put an end to such wickedness among you. 20 Those who remain will hear about it, be afraid and no longer commit such wickedness among you. 21 Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

20 “When you go out to fight your enemies and see horses, chariots and a force larger than yours, you are not to be afraid of them; because YAHUVEH your ELOHIM, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you. 2 When you are about to go into battle, the cohen is to come forward and address the people. 3 He should tell them, ‘Listen, Isra’el! You are about to do battle against your enemies. Don’t be fainthearted or afraid; don’t be alarmed or frightened by them; 4 because YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is going with you to fight on your behalf against your enemies and give you victory.’

5 “Then the officials will speak to the soldiers. They are to say, ‘Is there a man here who has built a new house, but hasn’t dedicated it yet? He should go back home now; otherwise he may die fighting, and another man will dedicate it.

6 “‘Is there a man here who has planted a vineyard, but hasn’t yet made use of its fruit? He should go back home; otherwise he may die fighting, and another man will use it.

7 “‘Is there a man here who is engaged to a woman, but hasn’t married her yet? He should go back home; otherwise he may die fighting, and another man will marry her.’

8 “The officials will then add to what they have said to the soldiers: ‘Is there a man here who is afraid and fainthearted? He should go back home; otherwise his fear may demoralize his comrades as well.’ 9 When the officials have finished speaking with the soldiers, commanders are to be appointed to lead the army.

(vii) 10 “When you advance on a town to attack it, first offer it terms for peace. 11 If it accepts the terms for peace and opens its gates to you, then all the people there are to be put to forced labor and work for you. 12 However, if they refuse to make peace with you but prefer to make war against you, you are to put it under siege. 13 When YAHUVEH your ELOHIM hands it over to you, you are to put every male to the sword. 14 However, you are to take as booty for yourself the women, the little ones, the livestock, and everything in the city — all its spoil. Yes, you will feed on your enemies’ spoil, which YAHUVEH your ELOHIM has given you. 15 This is what you are to do to all the towns which are at a great distance from you, which are not the towns of these nations.

16 “As for the towns of these peoples, which YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you as your inheritance, you are not to allow anything that breathes to live. 17 Rather you must destroy them completely — the Hitti, the Emori, the Kena‘ani, the P’rizi, the Hivi and the Y’vusi — as YAHUVEH your ELOHIM has ordered you; 18 so that they won’t teach you to follow their abominable practices, which they do for their gods, thus causing you to sin against YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.

19 “When, in making war against a town in order to capture it, you lay siege to it for a long time, you are not to destroy its trees, cutting them down with an axe. You can eat their fruit, so don’t cut them down. After all, are the trees in the field human beings, so that you have to besiege them too? 20 However, if you know that certain trees provide no food, you may destroy them and cut them down, in order to build siege-works against the town making war with you, until it falls.

21 “If, in the land YAHUVEH your ELOHIM is giving you to possess, a murder victim is found lying in the countryside; and the perpetrator of the murder is not known; 2 then your leaders and judges are to go out and measure the distance between it and the surrounding towns. 3 After it has been determined which town is the closest, the leaders of that town are to take a young female cow that has never been put to work or yoked for use as a draft animal. 4 The leaders of that town are to bring the heifer down to a vadi with a stream in it that never dries up, to a place that is neither plowed nor sown; and they are to break the cow’s neck there in the vadi. 5 Then the cohanim, who are L’vi’im, are to approach; for YAHUVEH your ELOHIM has chosen them to serve him and to pronounce blessings in the name of YAHUVEH; they will decide the outcome of every dispute and matter involving violence. 6 All the leaders of the town nearest the murder victim are to wash their hands over the cow whose neck was broken in the vadi. (Maftir) 7 Then they are to speak up and say, ‘This blood was not shed by our hands, nor have we seen who did it. 8 YAHUVEH, forgive your people Isra’el, whom you redeemed; do not allow innocent blood to be shed among your people Isra’el.’ And they will be forgiven this bloodshed. 9 Thus you will banish the shedding of innocent blood from among you, by doing what YAHUVEH sees as right.

Prophetic Reading

Isaiah 51:12–52:12;

“I, yes I, am the one who comforts you!
Why are you afraid of a man, who must die;
of a human being, who will wither like grass?
13
You have forgotten YAHUVEH, your maker,
who stretched out the heavens
and laid the foundations of the earth.
Instead, you are in constant fear all day
because of the oppressor’s rage,
as he prepares to destroy!
But where is the oppressor’s rage?
14
The captive will soon be set free;
he will not die and go down to Sh’ol;
on the contrary, his food supply will be secure.
15
For I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM,
who stirs up the sea, who makes its waves roar —
YAHUVEH-Tzva’ot is my name.
16
I have put my words in your mouth
and covered you with the shadow of my hand,
in order to plant the skies [anew],
lay the foundations of the earth [anew]
and say to Tziyon, ‘You are my people.’”

17
Awake! Awake! Stand up, Yerushalayim!
At YAHUVEH’s hand you drank the cup of his fury;
you have drained to the dregs
the goblet of drunkenness.
18
There is no one to guide her
among all the sons she has borne.
Not one of all the children she raised
is taking her by the hand.
19
These two disasters have overcome you —
yet who will grieve with you? —
plunder and destruction, famine and sword;
by whom can I comfort you?
20
Your children lie helpless at every street corner,
like an antelope trapped in a net;
they are full of YAHUVEH’s fury,
the rebuke of your ELOHIM.
21
Therefore, please hear this in your affliction,
you who are drunk, but not with wine;
22
this is what your Lord YAHUVEH says,
your ELOHIM, who defends his people:
“Here, I have removed from your hand
the cup of drunkenness,
the goblet of my fury.
You will never drink it again.
23
I will put it in the hands of your tormentors,
who said to you, ‘Bend down, so we can trample you,’
and you flattened your back on the ground
like a street for them to walk on.”

52 Awake! Awake, Tziyon!
Clothe yourself with your strength!
Dress in your splendid garments,
Yerushalayim, the holy city!
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
will enter you no more.
2
Shake off the dust! Arise!
Be enthroned, Yerushalayim!
Loosen the chains on your neck,
captive daughter of Tziyon!
3
For thus says YAHUVEH:
“You were sold for nothing,
and you will be redeemed without money.”
4
For thus says YAHUVEH Elohim:
“Long ago my people went down to Egypt
to live there as aliens,
and Ashur oppressed them for no reason.
5
So now, what should I do here,” asks YAHUVEH,
“since my people were carried off for nothing?
Their oppressors are howling,” says YAHUVEH,
“and my name is always being insulted, daily.
6
Therefore my people will know my name;
therefore on that day they will know
that I, the one speaking — here I am!”

7
How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
proclaiming shalom, bringing good news
of good things, announcing salvation
and saying to Tziyon, “Your ELOHIM is King!”
8
Listen! Your watchmen are raising their voices,
shouting for joy together.
For they will see, before their own eyes,
YAHUVEH returning to Tziyon.

9
Break out into joy! Sing together,
you ruins of Yerushalayim!
For YAHUVEH has comforted his people,
he has redeemed Yerushalayim!
10
YAHUVEH has bared his holy arm
in the sight of every nation,
and all the ends of the earth will see
the salvation of our ELOHIM.
11
Leave! Leave! Get out of there!
Don’t touch anything unclean!
Get out from inside it, and be clean,
you who carry YAHUVEH’s temple equipment.
12
You need not leave in haste,
you do not have to flee;
for YAHUVEH will go ahead of you,
and the ELOHIM of Isra’el will also be behind you.

Mark 14:53–64

53 They led YAHUSHUA to the cohen hagadol, with whom all the head cohanim, elders and Torah-teachers were assembling. 54 Kefa followed him at a distance right into the courtyard of the cohen hagadol, where he sat down with the guards and warmed himself by the fire.

55 The head cohanim and the whole Sanhedrin tried to find evidence against YAHUSHUA, so that they might have him put to death, but they couldn’t find any. 56 For many people gave false evidence against him, but their testimonies didn’t agree. 57 Some stood up and gave this false testimony: 58 “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this Temple made with hands; and in three days I will build another one, not made with hands.’” 59 Even so, their testimonies didn’t agree.

60 The cohen hagadol stood up in the front and asked YAHUSHUA, “Have you nothing to say to the accusations these men are making?” 61 But he remained silent and made no reply. Again the cohen hagadol questioned him: “Are you the Mashiach, Ben-HaM’vorakh?” 62 “I AM,” answered YAHUSHUA. “Moreover, you will see the son of ELOHIM sitting at the right hand of HaG’vurah and coming on the clouds of heaven.”[a] 63 At this, the cohen hagadol tore his clothes and said, “Why do we still need witnesses? 64 You heard him blaspheme! What is your decision?” And they all declared him guilty and subject to the death penalty.

AmightyWind Prophecies

This is from Prophecy 105, YAHUVEH said to put this up on all Prophecies from now on: I warned you a long time ago Elisabeth (Elisheva) not to name this Ministry after a man or a woman even before there was a Ministry. I put it in your spirit for none of this has been done by your hand, none of this has come forth from your mouth. It is from the Mouth of YAHUVEH that has given birth. It is from the Mouth of YAHUSHUA your MASHIACH that has given birth. It is from the Mouth of the RUACH ha KODESH your IMMAYAH that has given birth. If it had only been by your hand it would have failed long ago. It is by the SHKHINYAH GLORY’S Wind that blows across this earth, the Holy Wind of Revival, it is not by your breath or it would have failed. (Isaiah 42:8)

Torah Portion: Pursuing Justice for All
Prophecy 74 I, YAHUVEH, Have Decreed War On Planet Earth From Heaven!
What will you do to annihilate one another, you intimidate one another, war upon wars for greed, for power, but while you do this, you know not when, but I, YAHUVEH, have decreed war from Heaven and you cannot stop it! You who mock ME, you who mock the true children of YAHUVEH and YAHUSHUA, you who plot to steal their freedoms away. I, YAHUVEH, have decreed war from Heaven on this planet and the evil shall be slain. You think you will go and you will hide, you who have prepared and are evil, you only care about your own families. How many millions have you spent? Oh you say Billions. You who take the money out of the peoples pockets, you say, “More taxes we need!” Instead it goes to build your underground cities. Luxuries of every kind, treasures where you have hoarded and you use the people’s money so you have a place to escape while you think they will just die.

But it is I, YAHUVEH, it is I, YAHUVEH, the Creator of not only this planet but all that lies in between, and I shall cast forth the rocks from the Sky. And just as in Sodom and Gomorrah and the seven cities besides I am the same YAHUVEH that destroyed Ninevah. Although I gave her time to repent in the end, was she not destroyed? I am the same YAHUVEH, the same Ancient of Days and what I did once before, I shall do once again. You’re so busy with your wars, you do not even fear nor notice ME, as again and again I give you signs in the sky and doom comes closer to thee. But not for MY Children, oh you think they are so ignorant and naive, but you forget oh evil ones of Lucifer, that they truly belong to ME. They don’t have the money to prepare, but they know they have a Heavenly Father YAHUVEH who cares It will be MY Angels arms that shelter them from the wrath that comes from the sky. For the Governments take your money and they go and they say they will conquer outer space. Since when did I give them the planets, for they have not even taken care of that which I have given.
, YAHUVEH, have decreed war on this earth. Fire is coming from the sky and no one can stop ME. Need I remind you of what happened at the Tower of Babylon? So it shall be once again and your towers of Babylon shall fall. I have given you chance after chance to repent. I have told the people to take back the freedoms that are being stripped away. They just shrug their shoulders and say, “What can we do?” “Nothing” Your newspapers are censored. Your news is censored. But still you can protest. Why do you not even offer up a prayer?

I have instructed this Ringmaiden to start saying a prayer anew. Do not just assume that people are to be martyred for MY sake. Where are the prayers? Need I remind you of Shaul, the one you call Paul? Do you not know it was the prayers for intercession that was going on and that is the reason he was spared. I have instructed this Ringmaiden to start praying ahead of time for a force field that will encompass your bodies that will be a protection from the weapons of man and anyone that comes near you. Those of MY select few, those that are called the first fruits, for you are MY choice. It is as though you go through a vegetable bin; do you not choose the best ones? So to I have chosen MY Bride, MY Chosen Ones and MY Elect! There is a force field that will encompass you that man will not be able to see until the weapon is aimed at you literally. They seek to control your mind.
Oh foolish, foolish man, what will you do when you realize too late, war has been decreed from Heaven. But those who truly belong to ME, those who take the Torah literally, those who believe I am able to protect, those who have put ME first in their life and their love, those who have laid everything on the altar of sacrifice, you will find I am YAHUVEH that cannot lie. Oh foolish earth, the evil ones that dwell on this earth, it is true as I told this Ringmaiden long ago when she saw the earthquakes, when she saw the wind with it combined and the floods and the volcanoes, those that survived that were evil and even those who are righteous through MY Son she heard these words, “Now, end of round one, now for round two.” It is as a boxing match, how many rounds? And this will happen when you are least aware, that is why I told you MY Children, “Hide yourself for just a little while.” Hide yourself in the presence of MY bosom; hide yourself underneath MY Wings for it is only I, YAHUVEH, that will protect you then. The same one that protects you now, I will protect you then.

So pray ahead of time for this force field MY Children, pray ahead of time for those being martyred around this world in MY Name, in MY Son’s Name. Do not just assume for when you assume need I remind you what the first 3 letters are? Listen to the voice of this Ringmaiden for truly I warn you as I do again and again, destruction is coming from Heaven, a sight so frightening the world shall cover their eyes.

You who invent these diseases and plagues they shall come upon you and your own households. You will not be able to figure out why. But the RUACH ha KODESH and the shed Blood of YAHUSHUA is your anti bodies that MY Children shall use and the plagues shall not come nigh their dwellings, all those that are found pleasing unto ME. This is MY promise to MY beloved Babies, Bride, Chosen Ones and Elect. So hide yourself MY Children for a little while, for again I say, I, YAHUVEH, have decreed war from Heaven on MY enemies, on those who mock ME, on those who rewrite MY Laws, for those who try and lead MY sheep to slaughter. I, YAHUVEH, have decreed war from Heaven but you know not which time destruction shall fall. So many dead and no time to bury, your politicians will wail. They shake their fist at ME, now I shake MY fist at them. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hand of the Almighty Living YAHUVEH for I am the beginning and I know no end. But you on the other hand oh enemies of MINE, you are just frail women and men.

Foolish, foolish, foolish people of this world, what does it take for you to listen? For I speak to you in the weather, you just shake your head and say isn’t that strange? I told you that I speak to you in the floods; you pay no attention even in the hurricanes. How many people must die before your eyes turn to ME? It just seems like if it is only buildings and casualties you do not even acknowledge ME. So you shall see your weather turn stranger. Man thinks he can control weather. Oh you boast America you have the machine but you forget; who is the one who stores up the hail, who stores up the snow, who stores up the rain, who causes the volcano’s to blow. You forget the one who shakes the earth and I need no machine.
Prophecy 52 I, YAHUVEH, Will Deliver You Once Again!
Dearest Beloved Children of MINE, how many of you cry out to ME with wails and tears and try and hide your fears from the world and your friends, yet confide in your Daddy YAHUVEH and MESSIAH YAHUSHUA. You come to us with tear stained faces in the Name of MY Son YAHUSHUA saying, “What do we do now? Where do we go?” Darlings of MINE, oh I am not angry with you at this time, it is the evil ones that I am livid with anger. I see the evil one’s plots and schemes, and it is just like in the time of old with the serpent in the Garden of Eden, seeking to beguile you, and make you think that you cannot win without worldly knowledge. Your Father I, YAHUVEH, is all knowledge and when you seek I, YAHUVEH, and YAHUSHUA and the RUACH ha KODESH you are seeking truth, and knowledge.

Be assured, as long as you are seeking, you will find the answers when the time comes. If you do not know what to do, then be assured, it is not yet the time for you to know where to go, nor what to do. I, YAHUVEH, will not give you the ticket to ride until it is the time to leave. I, YAHUVEH, am never too early or too late, but I am always there right on time. Not a second to spare at times. But I, YAHUVEH, will never leave you, nor forsake you. I, YAHUVEH, am the Creator of all mankind. You need not fear what the evil ones will do, for I, YAHUVEH, am using the simple things, like your prayers, to confound the so-called, wise of this world.

I, YAHUVEH, am even able to change your DNA. Did you know that? Yes, if I so choose. I, YAHUVEH, can even change the color of your skin and your eyes. Marvel not. I, YAHUVEH, am the Creator remember? I, YAHUVEH, am able to make you invisible if I, YAHUVEH, so choose. You have no idea what standard I shall raise up against the evil ones. The very bondages, diseases, and plagues that the evil ones, who are called satan’s children, seek to loose upon you, shall confound them. Multitudes of MY Children will not be harmed. Instead, the evil one’s own families shall come down with the diseases and the plagues, and they will have no answer as to the reason why. All they will have to admit is that I, YAHUVEH, did it.

The evil ones strive to protect themselves, and they think themselves wise to even inoculate their own families, and loved ones, and friends, and yet, I, YAHUVEH, will nullify that protection. To the degree that the evil ones, the pretenders, seek to harm MY Children, that is the degree that the harm will come back upon themselves. Start praying for this now. There is great power in prayers said to I, YAHUVEH, in the Name of your MESSIAH, MY only begotten son YAHUSHUA. Pray that I, YAHUVEH, will give you greater spiritual weapons to use against the carnal ones who raise up against MY beloved ones, who seek MY face and will daily.

Pray that as Elisha saw the mantle fall from Elijah of old, so you shall behold it again, and you shall be endued with even more of the RUACH ha KODESH’s anointing power. When this happens, you will not need to be concerned how you will get to a certain nation. When I, YAHUVEH, send you, you will just appear. Do you think this is strange? Read your Scriptures and see how many already had the power of translating and know that the evil ones already use such powers for evil purposes.

The evil ones keep dark secrets, and yet I, YAHUVEH, will tell MY secrets to those that follow the guiding light, who is YAHUSHUA. I, YAHUVEH, will protect MY Babies, Bride, Chosen Ones, and Elect! YAHUSHUA is as a lamp unto your feet. When the evil ones take your light away, look to I, YAHUVEH, and I will send MY angels to light your way. The evil ones seek to take your confidence, faith, trust, truth, privacy, freedoms, happiness, joy unspeakable and full of glory, and your finances, away from you. This is easy for them to do if you listen to the spirit of fear, and all the bad reports on the news. More than you listen; read the good reports, they are all written in the Scriptures. At least MY Children get in balance. How can you hope to defeat fear when all you’re doing is feeding the fear frenzy?

MY hidden ones have the knowledge, and a way around every weapon of the enemy that seeks MY children’s destruction, and this world’s destruction. Lean not on to your own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge I, YAHUVEH and I, YAHUVEH, shall direct thy paths. Your own understanding will cause you to fear the unknown. I, YAHUVEH, do not sleep. I, YAHUVEH, will not slumber. MY eyes are on the nations where MY People cry out to ME in prayer to save them. Listen not to the doom and gloom soothsayers. They speak and write that I, YAHUVEH, will not provide a place of escape for MY beloved ones that are following YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH and are doing their best to obey MY laws. Why do MY Children seek to obey I, YAHUVEH? Because they love their Heavenly Father.
Torah Portion: Who Killed YAHUSHUA?
Prophecy 95 YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH Says, Pick Up Your Weapon, I Am ALIVE!

Only through the Blood of YAHUSHUA your MASHIACH, can anyone be saved! There is no name on the face of this world, on the face of this universe, can anyone be saved but through MY Blood and through the price I paid with MY Body, as I laid MY life down.

YAHUSHUA willingly gave HIS Life on the cross No man took MY life! No man could murder ME! But I willingly gave it. It is I that said, “It is finished.” It is I that commended MY Spirit to leave. But you do not have a clue what I did during this time. You do not have a clue for though yet MY Body died, I did arise. And I made an open show to satan, the once called Lucifer and I let him know and I let all of hell know, I am alive! And I took the keys of hell and death from his hands! And he cannot send anyone to hell unless it was part of MY plan, unless their name is not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world.

And I cannot lose one. I do not lose one. All, all, all whose names are found written in the LAMB’S Book of Life, before the foundation of this earth, all, all, all, all shall be in Heaven. The ones whose names are blotted out! As they betrayed ME in Heaven, they betray ME on earth. But even that name was blotted out before the foundation of this earth. As they betrayed ME in Heaven they betray ME on earth. All of you work out your own salvation with fear and trembling for your soul knows where you will go. You’re only repeating what’s already been done.

Teaching

“Appoint judges /shoftim and officials /shotrim for each of your tribes in every town YAHUVEH your GOD is giving you, and they shall judge [shafat] the people fairly [tzedek mishpat / righteous judgment].”  (Deuteronomy 16:18)

Last week, in Parasha Re’eh, YAHUVEH set a blessing and a curse before the Israelites.

The blessing was a result of obeying YAHUVEH’s commandments and the curse a result of forsaking them.

In this week’s Torah portion, Moses instructed the nation of Israel in the appointing of judges (called shoftim in Hebrew) and law enforcement officers (called shotrim) to administer justice.  These judges and officers would not only teach but also interpret the laws of the Torah.

What is the difference between a judge and an officer?  A judge refers to one qualified to deliver judgments according to the laws of the Torah.  The officer then enforces these legal judgments, even by force if necessary.

The Hebrew prophet Isaiah promised that there would come a day when judges would be restored as in the days of old:  “I shall restore your judges [shoftim] as at first, and your counselors [yaats] as at the beginning.”  (Isaiah 1:26)

Although Isaiah mentions the judges, the officers do not appear in this prophecy, but rather “counselors.”

Why will counselors replace the role of officers?

In the days of redemption, when the Messiah returns to rule and reign in righteousness, there will be no need for “enforcers” of the Torah.

In the Messianic era, all will have such a deep desire to follow and obey YAHUVEH that only counselors will be needed to explain and clarify (not to enforce) the decisions of the judges.

Even today (before that great day of YAHUVEH that is to come) those who are truly in Messiah do not need external coercion to keep YAHUVEH’s commandments and judgments.

For when we have been given a new heart and a new spirit, there arises within us a desire to keep YAHUVEH’s laws and commandments, not in a spirit of legalism, but out of a heart of love:

“I will put MY Spirit within you and cause you to walk in MY statutes, and you will be careful to observe MY ordinances.”  (Ezekiel 36:27)

For those who believe in YAHUSHUA but do not observe HIS commandments in the Torah, the question we need to ask is, “Why not?”

Either the person is not truly following YAHUSHUA and filled with HIS Spirit, or they have received and accepted a teaching of false grace which erroneously emphasizes freedom from guilt over freedom from sin.

Certainly, YAHUSHUA did not pay the ultimate price to set us free from bondage to sin so that we can continue sinning without guilt.

“Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.”
(1 John 3:4)

Pursuing Justice for All

“Do not pervert justice or show partiality.  Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent.”  (Deuteronomy 16:19)

This Parasha warns that judges (or magistrates) are not to show any kind of partiality or favoritism.  They are forbidden from accepting a bribe.  It is written that YAHUVEH shows no favoritism but accepts anyone from any nation who fears HIM and does what is right (Acts 10:34).

Justice has always been a fundamental value in Judaism; therefore, it was to be administered without corruption.  Difficult cases could be referred to a higher court, which was called the Sanhedrin in Second Temple times.

“Tzedek, tzedek tirdof — Justice, justice you shall pursue.”  (Deuteronomy 16:20)

A thorough investigation of crimes was required, and in order to deliver punishment upon a criminal, a minimum of two credible witnesses were required.

As we shall see, this is why the trial of YAHUSHUA Ha Mashiach was completely unjust and contrary to Jewish law — and yet it was YAHUVEH’s will that He suffer and die on the execution stake.

Who Killed YAHUSHUA?

The question is often asked, “Who killed YAHUSHUA?”

Usually, the blame is placed upon the Jews, with accusations of “Christ Killer” fueling the fires of anti-Semitism over the centuries.  But is this accusation true?

To answer that, we only need to look at the record of YAHUSHUA’s trial.

YAHUSHUA did not receive a trial by jury.  In Jewish law, the judge would hear and evaluate an accusation from two impartial witnesses.  If two or three witnesses would agree, the judge would issue a conviction; but in YAHUSHUA’s case, the witnesses against HIM presented false testimony.

“The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for testimony against YAHUSHUA to put HIM to death, but they could find none.  For many were giving false testimony against HIM, but the testimonies did not agree.”  (Mark 14:55–56)

Because the testimony of the witnesses did not agree, the judges could not convict HIM.

Thus, the Sanhedrin had no other choice but to ask YAHUSHUA directly if HE claimed to be the Messiah, the Son of God — a charge to which HE confessed, thereby positioning HIMSELF as being guilty of blasphemy, which carried the death penalty.

“Again the high priest questioned HIM, ‘Are You the Messiah, the SON of the Blessed One?’

“‘I am,’ said YAHUSHUA, ‘and all of you will see the SON of GOD seated at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.’

“Then the high priest tore his robes and said, ‘Why do we still need witnesses?  You have heard the blasphemy!  What is your decision?’

“And they all condemned HIM to be deserving of death.”  (Mark 14:61–64)

This interrogation essentially reveals that neither the Jewish Sanhedrin nor the Roman authorities could have killed YAHUSHUA without HIS cooperation.

Even some of the Roman soldiers came to believe that YAHUSHUA truly was the SON of GOD.

“When the centurion and those with HIM, who were guarding YAHUSHUA, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they were terrified and said, ‘This man really was GOD’s SON!’”  (Matthew 27:54)

So to answer the question of who killed YAHUSHUA, we only need to look at HIS trial to see that HE willingly gave the authorities the “confession” they needed to condemn HIM to death.

YAHUSHUA, however, said that HE lay down HIS life of HIS own accord — to save us from our sins as the promised Messiah.

HE said by HIS own words, “The reason MY Father loves ME is that I lay down MY life — only to take it up again.  No one takes it from ME, but I lay it down of MY own accord.  I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.  This command I received from MY Father.”  (John 10:17–18)

Keeping the Nation Holy

“You are to be holy to ME because I, YAHUVEH, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be MY own.”  (Leviticus 20:26)

One purpose YAHUVEH chose a people for HIMSELF was so HE could show the world what holiness looks like.  Parasha Shoftim, therefore, forbids the following:

Idolatry

In the 17th chapter of Deuteronomy, YAHUVEH prohibits idolatry.  Anyone found guilty of this crime would be stoned to death according to the laws of the Torah, upon the testimony of two or three witnesses.

“On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.”  (Deuteronomy 17:6)

Why were such harsh penalties in place for worshiping false gods?

Although in our day, there exists a great emphasis on human rights and free choice, YAHUVEH’s law is concerned with preserving purity and Godliness.

By purging evil from the nation, holiness was protected.

“The hands of the witnesses must be the first in putting that person to death, and then the hands of all the people.  You must purge the evil from among you.”  (Deuteronomy 17:7)
“Go to the Levitical priests and to the judge who is in office at that time.  Inquire of them and they will give you the verdict.”  (Deuteronomy 17:9)

The Occult

All forms of occult practices also carried the death penalty.

These included many spiritual practices that are commonplace today and for the most part widely accepted: sorcery, divination, fortune telling, astrology, wizardry, and listening to psychics, mediums or those who act as a channel for spirits of the dead.

YAHUVEH acknowledges that pagans participate in the occult, but these practices are part of what leads to the downfall of nations and they are forbidden for any of YAHUVEH’s people.

Receiving guidance from one’s astrological chart, reading palms or tea leaves, attending séances, or even using Ouiji boards are not permitted for people of YAHUVEH; nevertheless, many today either in ignorance or defiance of the law read books about wizards and dabble in the occult.

This is a dangerous spiritual path.

“The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination.  But as for you, YAHUVEH your GOD has not permitted you to do so.”  (Deuteronomy 18:14)

False Prophets

Lying and deception is another form of evil that taints holiness.

Israel is warned to beware of false prophets.  Only those whose words come true are to be trusted as true prophets of YAHUVEH.

“If what a prophet proclaims in the name of YAHUVEH does not take place or come true, that is a message YAHUVEH has not spoken.  That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.”  (Deuteronomy 18:22)

Killing and Murder

Cities were set aside as refuge for someone who killed another unintentionally.

“Now this is the case of the manslayer who may flee there and live: when he kills his friend unintentionally, not hating him previously.”  (Deuteronomy 19:4)

However, anyone who intentionally murdered someone had no right to seek refuge in these cities; he would be removed by force to be handed over to the avenger of blood to die at his hand.

The deliberate shedding of innocent blood (murder) carried the death penalty.

“Show no pity.  You must purge from Israel the guilt of shedding innocent blood, so that it may go well with you.”  (Deuteronomy 19:13)

Choosing a Holy King of Israel

“When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you and have taken possession of it and settled in it, and you say, ‘Let us set a king over us like all the nations around us.’”  (Deuteronomy 17:14)

In this Parasha, Moses foresees that the people will one day want a king to rule over them and not a series of judges, so he gives them guidelines on how to protect their holy calling under such a system.

The king was to be an Israelite who had not accumulated many wives or a great deal of gold and silver.

He also had to know and use the teachings of the Torah as a guide.

The king was required to write out two Sifrei Torah books of the Torah and to keep them with him at all times in order that he remain humble (Deuteronomy 17:14–20).

YAHUSHUA was acknowledged as the King of the Jews, as was written on the sign posted over HIS head at HIS execution (Matthew 27:11, 37).

HE fulfilled all the requirements of kinship.  HE was an Israelite, a man of humility who lived a simple life and taught the Torah.  HE was the personification of holiness.

According to a Messianic prophecy, the Messiah will rule and reign as King upon the throne of HIS forefather David with perfect justice and righteousness forever and ever. Amen

“For a child will be born for us, a SON will be given to us, and the government will be on HIS shoulders.  HE will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty GOD, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

“The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end.  HE will reign on the throne of David and over HIS kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever.”  (Isaiah 9:6–7)

Although HE will physically reign over the Earth from Jerusalem when HE returns, HIS kingdom is established now in the hearts of those who are Believers.  Those of us who follow HIM understand that HE has given us a clear vision of holiness, bringing the observance of Torah to its fullness.

Because HE makes the fullness of the law known, each of us should be living in righteousness.

“If you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”
(John 13:17)

Trusting in YAHUVEH for Victory

In this Parasha, YAHUVEH gives the people laws for waging war and maintaining purity in the camp.

Moses tells the people to not be afraid of the inhabitants of the Promised Land while in battle; YAHUVEH will be with them.

Before battle, the Cohanim /Priests were to encourage the troops to trust in YAHUVEH.

“When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army.  HE shall say:  ‘Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies.  Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them.  For YAHUVEH your GOD is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”  (Deuteronomy 20:2–4)

We also need to encourage the young men and women of the Israel Defense Forces not to fear Palestinian terrorists or vast Islamic armies.

For just as in ancient times, these courageous Israeli soldiers do not enter into battle alone but with YAHUVEH on their side to give them the victory against their enemies.

We can also rest assured that no matter what battle we may face, YAHUVEH is with us and will cause us to walk in triumph in Messiah YAHUSHUA.

“But thanks be to YAHUVEH, who in Messiah always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of HIM everywhere.”  (2 Corinthians 2:14)

“Hear the word of YAHUVEH, you nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands:  ‘HE who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over HIS flock like a shepherd.'”  (Jeremiah 31:10)
