Welcome to PARASHA ACHAREI MOT /After Death and Kedoshim –Holy Ones. These two Portions are combined to accommodate the number of Sabbaths in this calendar year.
16 YAHUVEH spoke with Moshe after the death of Aharon’s two sons, when they tried to sacrifice before YAHUVEH and died; 2 YAHUVEH said to Moshe, “Tell your brother Aharon not to come at just any time into the Holy Place beyond the curtain, in front of the ark-cover which is on the ark, so that he will not die; because I appear in the cloud over the ark-cover.
3 “Here is how Aharon is to enter the Holy Place: with a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering. 4 He is to put on the holy linen tunic, have the linen shorts next to his bare flesh, have the linen sash wrapped around him, and be wearing the linen turban — they are the holy garments. He is to bathe his body in water and put them on.
5 “He is to take from the community of the people of Isra’el two male goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering. 6 Aharon is to present the bull for the sin offering which is for himself and make atonement for himself and his household. 7 He is to take the two goats and place them before YAHUVEH at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 8 Then Aharon is to cast lots for the two goats, one lot for YAHUVEH and the other for ‘Az’azel. 9 Aharon is to present the goat whose lot fell to YAHUVEH and offer it as a sin offering. 10 But the goat whose lot fell to ‘Az’azel is to be presented alive to YAHUVEH to be used for making atonement over it by sending it away into the desert for ‘Az’azel.
11 “Aharon is to present the bull of the sin offering for himself; he will make atonement for himself and his household; he is to slaughter the bull of the sin offering which is for himself. 12 He is to take a censer full of burning coals from the altar before YAHUVEH and, with his hands full of ground, fragrant incense, bring it inside the curtain. 13 He is to put the incense on the fire before YAHUVEH, so that the cloud from the incense will cover the ark-cover which is over the testimony, in order that he not die. 14 He is to take some of the bull’s blood and sprinkle it with his finger on the ark-cover toward the east; and in front of the ark-cover he is to sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.
15 “Next, he is to slaughter the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, bring its blood inside the curtain and do with its blood as he did with the bull’s blood, sprinkling it on the ark-cover and in front of the ark-cover. 16 He will make atonement for the Holy Place because of the uncleannesses of the people of Isra’el and because of their transgressions — all their sins; and he is to do the same for the tent of meeting which is there with them right in the middle of their uncleannesses. 17 No one is to be present in the tent of meeting from the time he enters the Holy Place to make atonement until the time he comes out, having made atonement for himself, for his household and for the entire community of Isra’el. (LY: ii) 18 Then he is to go out to the altar that is before YAHUVEH and make atonement for it; he is to take some of the bull’s blood and some of the goat’s blood and put it on all the horns of the altar. 19 He is to sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, thus purifying it and setting it apart from the uncleannesses of the people of Isra’el.
20 “When he has finished atoning for the Holy Place, the tent of meeting and the altar, he is to present the live goat. 21 Aharon is to lay both his hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the transgressions, crimes and sins of the people of Isra’el; he is to put them on the head of the goat and then send it away into the desert with a man appointed for the purpose. 22 The goat will bear all their transgressions away to some isolated place, and he is to let the goat go in the desert.
23 “Aharon is to go back into the tent of meeting, where he is to remove the linen garments he put on when he entered the Holy Place, and he is to leave them there. 24 Then he is to bathe his body in water in a holy place, put on his other clothes, come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, thus making atonement for himself and for the people. (RY: ii, LY: iii) 25 He is to make the fat of the sin offering go up in smoke on the altar.
26 “The man who let go the goat for ‘Az’azel is to wash his clothes and bathe his body in water; afterwards, he may return to the camp.
27 “The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, is to be carried outside the camp; there they are to burn up completely their hides, meat and dung. 28 The person burning them is to wash his clothes and bathe his body in water; afterwards, he may return to the camp.
29 “It is to be a permanent regulation for you that on the tenth day of the seventh month you are to deny yourselves and not do any kind of work, both the citizen and the foreigner living with you. 30 For on this day, atonement will be made for you to purify you; you will be clean before YAHUVEH from all your sins. 31 It is a Shabbat of complete rest for you, and you are to deny yourselves.
“This is a permanent regulation. 32 The cohen anointed and consecrated to be cohen in his father’s place will make the atonement; he will put on the linen garments, the holy garments; 33 he will make atonement for the Especially Holy Place; he will make atonement for the tent of meeting and the altar; and he will make atonement for the cohanim and for all the people of the community. 34 This is a permanent regulation for you, to make atonement for the people of Isra’el because of all their sins once a year.” Moshe did as YAHUVEH had ordered him.
17 (LY: iv) YAHUVEH said to Moshe, 2 “Speak to Aharon and his sons and to all the people of Isra’el. Tell them that this is what YAHUVEH has ordered: 3 ‘When someone from the community of Isra’el slaughters an ox, lamb or goat inside or outside the camp 4 without bringing it to the entrance of the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to YAHUVEH before the tabernacle of YAHUVEH, he is to be charged with blood — he has shed blood, and that person is to be cut off from his people. 5 The reason for this is so that the people of Isra’el will bring their sacrifices that they sacrifice out in the field — so that they will bring them to YAHUVEH, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, to the cohen, and sacrifice them as peace offerings to YAHUVEH. 6 The cohen will splash the blood against the altar of YAHUVEH at the entrance to the tent of meeting and make the fat go up in smoke as a pleasing aroma for YAHUVEH. 7 No longer will they offer sacrifices to the goat-demons, before whom they prostitute themselves! This is a permanent regulation for them through all their generations.’
(RY: iii, LY: v) 8 “Also tell them, ‘When someone from the community of Isra’el or one of the foreigners living with you offers a burnt offering or sacrifice 9 without bringing it to the entrance of the tent of meeting to sacrifice it to YAHUVEH, that person is to be cut off from his people. 10 When someone from the community of Isra’el or one of the foreigners living with you eats any kind of blood, I will set myself against that person who eats blood and cut him off from his people. 11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for yourselves; for it is the blood that makes atonement because of the life.’ 12 This is why I told the people of Isra’el, ‘None of you is to eat blood, nor is any foreigner living with you to eat blood.’
13 “When someone from the community of Isra’el or one of the foreigners living with you hunts and catches game, whether animal or bird that may be eaten, he is to pour out its blood and cover it with earth. 14 For the life of every creature — its blood is its life. Therefore I said to the people of Isra’el, ‘You are not to eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood. Whoever eats it will be cut off.’
15 “Anyone eating an animal that dies naturally or is torn to death by wild animals, whether he is a citizen or a foreigner, is to wash his clothes and bathe himself in water; he will be unclean until evening; then he will be clean. 16 But if he doesn’t wash them or bathe his body, he will bear the consequences of his wrongdoing.”
18 YAHUVEH said to Moshe, 2 “Speak to the people of Isra’el; tell them, ‘I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM. 3 You are not to engage in the activities found in the land of Egypt, where you used to live; and you are not to engage in the activities found in the land of Kena‘an, where I am bringing you; nor are you to live by their laws. 4 You are to obey my rulings and laws and live accordingly; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM. 5 You are to observe my laws and rulings; if a person does them, he will have life through them; I am YAHUVEH.
(LY: vi) 6 “‘None of you is to approach anyone who is a close relative in order to have sexual relations; I am YAHUVEH. 7 You are not to have sexual relations with your father, and you are not to have sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother — do not have sexual relations with her. 8 You are not to have sexual relations with your father’s wife; that is your father’s prerogative. 9 You are not to have sexual relations with your sister, the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere. Do not have sexual relations with them. 10 You are not to have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or with your daughter’s daughter. Do not have sexual relations with them, because their sexual disgrace will be your own. 11 You are not to have sexual relations with your father’s wife’s daughter, born to your father, because she is your sister; do not have sexual relations with her. 12 You are not to have sexual relations with your father’s sister, because she is your father’s close relative. 13 You are not to have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, because she is your mother’s close relative. 14 You are not to disgrace your father’s brother by having sexual relations with his wife, because she is your aunt. 15 You are not to have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law; because she is your son’s wife. Do not have sexual relations with her. 16 You are not to have sexual relations with your brother’s wife, because this is your brother’s prerogative.
17 “‘You are not to have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter, nor are you to have sexual relations with her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter; they are close relatives of hers, and it would be shameful. 18 You are not to take a woman to be a rival with her sister and have sexual relations with her while her sister is still alive. 19 You are not to approach a woman in order to have sexual relations with her when she is unclean from her time of niddah. 20 You are not to go to bed with your neighbor’s wife and thus become unclean with her.
21 “‘You are not to let any of your children be sacrificed to Molekh, thereby profaning the name of your ELOHIM; I am YAHUVEH.
(RY: iv, LY: vii) 22 “‘You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.
23 “‘You are not to have sexual relations with any kind of animal and thus become unclean with it; nor is any woman to present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; it is perversion.
24 “‘Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, because all the nations which I am expelling ahead of you are defiled with them. 25 The land has become unclean, and this is why I am punishing it — the land itself will vomit out its inhabitants. 26 But you are to keep my laws and rulings and not engage in any of these disgusting practices, neither the citizen nor the foreigner living with you; (LY: Maftir) 27 for the people of the land have committed all these abominations, and the land is now defiled. 28 If you make the land unclean, it will vomit you out too, just as it is vomiting out the nation that was there before you. 29 For those who engage in any of these disgusting practices, whoever they may be, will be cut off from their people. 30 So keep my charge not to follow any of these abominable customs that others before you have followed and thus defile yourselves by doing them. I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.’”

19 YAHUVEH said to Moshe, 2 “Speak to the entire community of Isra’el; tell them, ‘You people are to be holy because I, YAHUVEH your ELOHIM, am holy.
3 “‘Every one of you is to revere his father and mother, and you are to keep my Shabbats; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.
4 “‘Do not turn to idols, and do not cast metal ELOHIMs for yourselves; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.
5 “‘When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to YAHUVEH, offer it in a way that will make you accepted. 6 It is to be eaten the same day you offer it and the following day; but if any of it remains until the third day, it is to be burned up completely. 7 If any of it is eaten on the third day, it will have become a disgusting thing and will not be accepted; 8 moreover, everyone who eats it will bear the consequences of profaning something holy meant for YAHUVEH — that person will be cut off from his people.
9 “‘When you harvest the ripe crops produced in your land, don’t harvest all the way to corners of your field, and don’t gather the ears of grain left by the harvesters. 10 Likewise, don’t gather the grapes left on the vine or fallen on the ground after harvest; leave them for the poor and the foreigner; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.
11 “‘Do not steal from, defraud or lie to each other. 12 Do not swear by my name falsely, which would be profaning the name of your ELOHIM; I am YAHUVEH. 13 Do not oppress or rob your neighbor; specifically, you are not to keep back the wages of a hired worker all night until morning.
14 “‘Do not speak a curse against a deaf person or place an obstacle in the way of a blind person; rather, fear your ELOHIM; I am YAHUVEH.
(RY: v, LY: ii) 15 “‘Do not be unjust in judging — show neither partiality to the poor nor deference to the mighty, but with justice judge your neighbor.
16 “‘Do not go around spreading slander among your people, but also don’t stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is at stake; I am YAHUVEH.
17 “‘Do not hate your brother in your heart, but rebuke your neighbor frankly, so that you won’t carry sin because of him. 18 Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am YAHUVEH.
19 “‘Observe my regulations.
“‘Don’t let your livestock mate with those of another kind, don’t sow your field with two different kinds of grain, and don’t wear a garment of cloth made with two different kinds of thread.
20 “‘If a man has sexual relations with a woman who is a slave intended for another man, and she has neither been redeemed nor given her freedom, there is to be an investigation. They are not to be put to death, because she was not free. 21 In reparation he is to bring a ram as a guilt offering for himself to the entrance of the tent of meeting. 22 The cohen will make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before YAHUVEH for the sin he committed, and he will be forgiven for the sin he committed.
(LY: iii) 23 “‘When you enter the land and plant various kinds of fruit trees, you are to regard its fruit as forbidden — for three years it will be forbidden to you and not eaten. 24 In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, for praising YAHUVEH. 25 But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit, so that it will produce even more for you; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.
26 “‘Do not eat anything with blood. Do not practice divination or fortune-telling. 27 Don’t round your hair at the temples or mar the edges of your beard. 28 Don’t cut gashes in your flesh when someone dies or tattoo yourselves; I am YAHUVEH.
29 “‘Do not debase your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land will not fall into prostitution and become full of shame.
30 “‘Keep my Shabbats, and revere my sanctuary; I am YAHUVEH.
31 “‘Do not turn to spirit-mediums or sorcerers; don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.
32 “‘Stand up in the presence of a person with gray hair, show respect for the old; you are to fear your ELOHIM; I am YAHUVEH.
(RY: vi, LY: iv) 33 “‘If a foreigner stays with you in your land, do not do him wrong. 34 Rather, treat the foreigner staying with you like the native-born among you — you are to love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.
35 “‘Don’t be dishonest when measuring length, weight or capacity. 36 Rather, use an honest balance-scale, honest weights, an honest bushel dry-measure and an honest gallon liquid-measure; I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. 37 Observe all my regulations and rulings, and do them; I am YAHUVEH.’”
20 (LY: v) YAHUVEH said to Moshe, 2 “Say to the people of Isra’el, ‘If someone from the people of Isra’el or one of the foreigners living in Isra’el sacrifices one of his children to Molekh, he must be put to death; the people of the land are to stone him to death. 3 I too will set myself against him and cut him off from his people, because he has sacrificed his child to Molekh, defiling my sanctuary and profaning my holy name. 4 If the people of the land look the other way when that man sacrifices his child to Molekh and fail to put him to death, 5 then I will set myself against him, his family and everyone who follows him to go fornicating after Molekh, and cut them off from their people.
6 “‘The person who turns to spirit-mediums and sorcerers to go fornicating after them — I will set myself against him and cut him off from his people. 7 Therefore consecrate yourselves — you people must be holy, because I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM. (RY: vii, LY: vi) 8 Observe my regulations, and obey them; I am YAHUVEH, who sets you apart to be holy.
9 “‘A person who curses his father or mother must be put to death; having cursed his father or his mother, his blood is on him.
10 “‘If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife, that is, with the wife of a fellow countryman, both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. 11 The man who goes to bed with his father’s wife has disgraced his father sexually, and both of them must be put to death; their blood is on them. 12 If a man goes to bed with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death; they have committed a perversion, and their blood is on them. 13 If a man goes to bed with a man as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they must be put to death; their blood is on them. 14 If a man marries a woman and her mother, it is depravity; they are to be put to death by fire, both he and they, so that there will not be depravity among you. 15 If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you are to kill the animal. 16 If a woman approaches an animal and has sexual relations with it, you are to kill the woman and the animal; their blood will be on them. 17 If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter, and has sexual relations with her, and she consents, it is a shameful thing; they are to be cut off publicly — he has had sexual relations with his sister, and he will bear the consequences of their wrongdoing. 18 If a man goes to bed with a woman in her menstrual period and has sexual relations with her, he has exposed the source of her blood, and she has exposed the source of her blood; both of them are to be cut off from their people. 19 You are not to have sexual relations with your mother’s sister or your father’s sister; a person who does this has had sexual relations with his close relative; they will bear the consequences of their wrongdoing. 20 If a man goes to bed with his uncle’s wife, he has disgraced his uncle sexually; they will bear the consequences of their sin and die childless. 21 If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is uncleanness; he has disgraced his brother sexually; they will be childless.
22 “‘You are to observe all my regulations and rulings and act on them, so that the land to which I am bringing you will not vomit you out. (LY: vii) 23 Do not live by the regulations of the nation which I am expelling ahead of you; because they did all these things, which is why I detested them. 24 But to you I have said, “You will inherit their land; I will give it to you as a possession, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am YAHUVEH your ELOHIM, who has set you apart from other peoples. (Maftir) 25 Therefore you are to distinguish between clean and unclean animals and between clean and unclean birds; do not make yourselves detestable with an animal, bird or reptile that I have set apart for you to regard as unclean. 26 Rather, you people are to be holy for me; because I, YAHUVEH, am holy; and I have set you apart from the other peoples, so that you can belong to me.
27 “‘A man or woman who is a spirit-medium or sorcerer must be put to death; they are to stone them to death; their blood will be on them.’”
22 The word of YAHUVEH came to me: 2 “Now, human being, are you prepared to judge? Are you prepared to judge the city drenched in blood? Then make her realize how disgusting all her practices are! 3 Say that YAHUVEH Elohim says, ‘City that sheds blood within yourself, thus speeding your own doom, and that makes idols for yourself that defile you: 4 you are guilty because of the blood you have shed, you are defiled by your idols that you have made. You have shortened your days, you have completed your years; therefore I have made you an object of scorn for the nations and a laughingstock for every country. 5 Those close by and those far off will taunt you, you who have such a defiled reputation and such great disorder.
6 “‘The leaders of Isra’el in you all use their power in order to shed blood. 7 In you, they make light of fathers and mothers, they oppress foreigners, they wrong orphans and widows. 8 You treat my holy things with contempt, you profane my shabbats. 9 In you, people gossip to the point of inciting bloodshed; in you are those who go to eat on the mountains; in you, they commit lewd acts; 10 in you, they commit incest; in you, they force themselves on women during their menstrual impurity. 11 In you, one commits an abomination with his neighbor’s wife; another commits some lewd act defiling his daughter-in-law; still another humbles his sister, his own father’s daughter. 12 In you, people take bribes to shed blood; you demand and accept interest on loans; in greed you make profits off your neighbors by extorting them; and you have forgotten me,’ says YAHUVEH Elohim.
13 “‘Therefore, I am clapping my hands together because of your ill-gotten gains and the blood shed in you. 14 Can your courage last, can your strength continue during the days when I deal with you? I, YAHUVEH, have spoken it; and I will do it. 15 I will scatter you among the Goyim and disperse you throughout the countries; thus I will remove your defilement from you, 16 and you will cause yourselves to be profaned in full view of the Goyim. Then you will know that I am YAHUVEH.’”
17 The word of YAHUVEH came to me: 18 “Human being, the house of Isra’el has become an alloy of base metals for me; they are all copper, tin, iron and lead mixed together in the crucible, the dross left over from the silver. 19 Therefore YAHUVEH Elohim says this: ‘Because you have all become dross, I will collect all of you inside Yerushalayim.
“People of Isra’el, are you any different
from the Ethiopians to me?” asks YAHUVEH.
“True, I brought Isra’el up from Egypt,
but I also brought the P’lishtim from Kaftor,
and Aram from Kir.
Look, the eyes of YAHUVEH Elohim
are on the sinful kingdom.
I will wipe it off the face of the earth,
yet I will not completely destroy
the house of Ya‘akov,” says YAHUVEH.
“For when I give the order,
I will shake the house of Isra’el,
there among all the Goyim,
as one shakes with a sieve,
letting no grain fall to the ground.
All the sinners among my people
who say, ‘Disaster will never overtake us
or confront us,’ will die by the sword.
“When that day comes, I will raise up
the fallen sukkah of David.
I will close up its gaps, raise up its ruins
and rebuild it as it used to be,
so that Isra’el can possess
what is left of Edom
and of all the nations bearing my name,”
says YAHUVEH, who is doing this.
“The days will come,” says YAHUVEH,
“when the plowman will overtake the reaper
and the one treading grapes the one sowing seed.
Sweet wine will drip down the mountains,
and all the hills will flow with it.
I will restore the fortunes of my people Isra’el;
they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities;
they will plant vineyards and drink their wine,
cultivate gardens and eat their fruit.
I will plant them on their own soil,
no more to be uprooted
from their land, which I gave them,”
says YAHUVEH your ELOHIM.
1 Corinthians 6:9–20
9 Don’t you know that unrighteous people will have no share in the Kingdom of ELOHIM? Don’t delude yourselves — people who engage in sex before marriage, who worship idols, who engage in sex after marriage with someone other than their spouse, who engage in active or passive homosexuality, 10 who steal, who are greedy, who get drunk, who assail people with contemptuous language, who rob — none of them will share in the Kingdom of ELOHIM. 11 Some of you used to do these things. But you have cleansed yourselves, you have been set apart for ELOHIM, you have come to be counted righteous through the power of the Lord YAHUSHUA the Messiah and the Spirit of our ELOHIM.
12 You say, “For me, everything is permitted”? Maybe, but not everything is helpful. “For me, everything is permitted”? Maybe, but as far as I am concerned, I am not going to let anything gain control over me. 13 “Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”? Maybe, but ELOHIM will put an end to both of them. Anyhow, the body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. 14 ELOHIM raised up the Lord, and he will raise us up too by his power.
15 Don’t you know that your bodies are parts of the Messiah? So, am I to take parts of the Messiah and make them parts of a prostitute? Heaven forbid! 16 Don’t you know that a man who joins himself to a prostitute becomes physically one with her? For the Tanakh says, “The two will become one flesh”;[a] 17 but the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. 18 Run from sexual immorality! Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the fornicator sins against his own body. 19 Or don’t you know that your body is a temple for the Ruach HaKodesh who lives inside you, whom you received from ELOHIM? The fact is, you don’t belong to yourselves; 20 for you were bought at a price. So use your bodies to glorify ELOHIM.
John 7:1 – 10:21;
7 After this, YAHUSHUA traveled around in the Galil, intentionally avoiding Y’hudah because the Judeans were out to kill him. 2 But the festival of Sukkot in Y’hudah was near; 3 so his brothers said to him, “Leave here and go into Y’hudah, so that your talmidim can see the miracles you do; 4 for no one who wants to become known acts in secret. If you’re doing these things, show yourself to the world!” 5 (His brothers spoke this way because they had not put their trust in him.) 6 YAHUSHUA said to them, “My time has not yet come; but for you, any time is right. 7 The world can’t hate you, but it does hate me, because I keep telling it how wicked its ways are. 8 You, go on up to the festival; as for me, I am not going up to this festival now, because the right time for me has not yet come.” 9 Having said this, he stayed on in the Galil.
10 But after his brothers had gone up to the festival, he too went up, not publicly but in secret. 11 At the festival, the Judeans were looking for him. “Where is he?” they asked. 12 And among the crowds there was much whispering about him. Some said, “He’s a good man”; but others said, “No, he is deceiving the masses.” 13 However, no one spoke about him openly, for fear of the Judeans.
14 Not until the festival was half over did YAHUSHUA go up to the Temple courts and begin to teach. 15 The Judeans were surprised: “How does this man know so much without having studied?” they asked. 16 So YAHUSHUA gave them an answer: “My teaching is not my own, it comes from the One who sent me. 17 If anyone wants to do his will, he will know whether my teaching is from ELOHIM or I speak on my own. 18 A person who speaks on his own is trying to win praise for himself; but a person who tries to win praise for the one who sent him is honest, there is nothing false about him. 19 Didn’t Moshe give you the Torah? Yet not one of you obeys the Torah! Why are you out to kill me?” 20 “You have a demon!” the crowd answered. “Who’s out to kill you?” 21 YAHUSHUA answered them, “I did one thing; and because of this, all of you are amazed. 22 Moshe gave you b’rit-milah — not that it came from Moshe but from the Patriarchs — and you do a boy’s b’rit-milah on Shabbat. 23 If a boy is circumcised on Shabbat so that the Torah of Moshe will not be broken, why are you angry with me because I made a man’s whole body well on Shabbat? 24 Stop judging by surface appearances, and judge the right way!”
25 Some of the Yerushalayim people said, “Isn’t this the man they’re out to kill? 26 Yet here he is, speaking openly; and they don’t say anything to him. It couldn’t be, could it, that the authorities have actually concluded he’s the Messiah? 27 Surely not — we know where this man comes from; but when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he comes from.” 28 Whereupon YAHUSHUA, continuing to teach in the Temple courts, cried out, “Indeed you do know me! And you know where I’m from! And I have not come on my own! The One who sent me is real. But him you don’t know! 29 I do know him, because I am with him, and he sent me!”
30 At this, they tried to arrest him; but no one laid a hand on him; because his time had not yet come. 31 However, many in the crowd put their trust in him and said, “When the Messiah comes, will he do more miracles than this man has done?”
32 The P’rushim heard the crowd whispering these things about YAHUSHUA; so the head cohanim and the P’rushim sent some of the Temple guards to arrest him. 33 YAHUSHUA said, “I will be with you only a little while longer; then I will go away to the One who sent me. 34 You will look for me and not find me; indeed, where I am, you cannot come.” 35 The Judeans said to themselves, “Where is this man about to go, that we won’t find him? Does he intend to go to the Greek Diaspora and teach the Greek-speaking Jews? 36 And when he says, ‘You will look for me and not find me; indeed, where I am, you cannot come’ — what does he mean?”
37 Now on the last day of the festival, Hoshana Rabbah, YAHUSHUA stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him keep coming to me and drinking! 38 Whoever puts his trust in me, as the Scripture says, rivers of living water will flow from his inmost being!” 39 (Now he said this about the Spirit, whom those who trusted in him were to receive later — the Spirit had not yet been given, because YAHUSHUA had not yet been glorified.)
40 On hearing his words, some people in the crowd said, “Surely this man is ‘the prophet’”; 41 others said, “This is the Messiah.” But others said, “How can the Messiah come from the Galil? 42 Doesn’t the Tanakh say that the Messiah is from the seed of David[a] and comes from Beit-Lechem,[b] the village where David lived?” 43 So the people were divided because of him. 44 Some wanted to arrest him, but no one laid a hand on him.
45 The guards came back to the head cohanim and the P’rushim, who asked them, “Why didn’t you bring him in?” 46 The guards replied, “No one ever spoke the way this man speaks!” 47 “You mean you’ve been taken in as well?” the P’rushim retorted. 48 “Has any of the authorities trusted him? Or any of the P’rushim? No! 49 True, these ‘am-ha’aretz do, but they know nothing about the Torah, they are under a curse!”
50 Nakdimon, the man who had gone to YAHUSHUA before and was one of them, said to them, 51 “Our Torah doesn’t condemn a man — does it? — until after hearing from him and finding out what he’s doing.” 52 They replied, “You aren’t from the Galil too, are you? Study the Tanakh, and see for yourself that no prophet comes from the Galil!” [c] 53 Then they all left, each one to his own home.
8 But YAHUSHUA went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At daybreak, he appeared again in the Temple Court, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The Torah-teachers and the P’rushim brought in a woman who had been caught committing adultery and made her stand in the center of the group. 4 Then they said to him, “Rabbi, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. 5 Now in our Torah, Moshe commanded that such a woman be stoned to death. What do you say about it?” 6 They said this to trap him, so that they might have ground for bringing charges against him; but YAHUSHUA bent down and began writing in the dust with his finger. 7 When they kept questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “The one of you who is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Then he bent down and wrote in the dust again. 9 On hearing this, they began to leave, one by one, the older ones first, until he was left alone, with the woman still there. 10 Standing up, YAHUSHUA said to her, “Where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, sir.” YAHUSHUA said, “Neither do I condemn you. Now go, and don’t sin any more.”
12 YAHUSHUA spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light which gives life.” 13 So the P’rushim said to him, “Now you’re testifying on your own behalf; your testimony is not valid.” 14 YAHUSHUA answered them, “Even if I do testify on my own behalf, my testimony is indeed valid; because I know where I came from and where I’m going; but you do not know where I came from or where I’m going. 15 You judge by merely human standards. As for me, I pass judgment on no one; 16 but if I were indeed to pass judgment, my judgment would be valid; because it is not I alone who judge, but I and the One who sent me. 17 And even in your Torah it is written that the testimony of two people is valid. 18 I myself testify on my own behalf, and so does the Father who sent me.”
19 They said to him, “Where is this ‘father’ of yours?” YAHUSHUA answered, “You know neither me nor my Father; if you knew me, you would know my Father too.” 20 He said these things when he was teaching in the Temple treasury room; yet no one arrested him, because his time had not yet come.
21 Again he told them, “I am going away, and you will look for me, but you will die in your sin — where I am going, you cannot come.” 22 The Judeans said, “Is he going to commit suicide? Is that what he means when he says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?” 23 YAHUSHUA said to them, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. 24 This is why I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not trust that I AM [who I say I am], you will die in your sins.”
25 At this, they said to him, “You? Who are you?” YAHUSHUA answered, “Just what I’ve been telling you from the start. 26 There are many things I could say about you, and many judgments I could make. However, the One who sent me is true; so I say in the world only what I have heard from him.” 27 They did not understand that he was talking to them about the Father. 28 So YAHUSHUA said, “When you lift up the Son of GOD, then you will know that I AM [who I say I am], and that of myself I do nothing, but say only what the Father has taught me. 29 Also, the One who sent me is still with me; he did not leave me to myself, because I always do what pleases him.”
30 Many people who heard him say these things trusted in him. 31 So YAHUSHUA said to the Judeans who had trusted him, “If you obey what I say, then you are really my talmidim, 32 you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 They answered, “We are the seed of Avraham and have never been slaves to anyone; so what do you mean by saying, ‘You will be set free’?” 34 YAHUSHUA answered them, “Yes, indeed! I tell you that everyone who practices sin is a slave of sin. 35 Now a slave does not remain with a family forever, but a son does remain with it forever. 36 So if the Son frees you, you will really be free! 37 I know you are the seed of Avraham. Yet you are out to kill me, because what I am saying makes no headway in you. 38 I say what my Father has shown me; you do what your father has told you!”
39 They answered him, “Our father is Avraham.” YAHUSHUA replied, “If you are children of Avraham, then do the things Avraham did! 40 As it is, you are out to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from ELOHIM. Avraham did nothing like that! 41 You are doing the things your father does.” “We’re not illegitimate children!” they said to him. “We have only one Father — ELOHIM!” 42 YAHUSHUA replied to them, “If ELOHIM were your Father, you would love me; because I came out from ELOHIM; and now I have arrived here. I did not come on my own; he sent me. 43 Why don’t you understand what I’m saying? Because you can’t bear to listen to my message. 44 You belong to your father, Satan, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. From the start he was a murderer, and he has never stood by the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he is speaking in character; because he is a liar — indeed, the inventor of the lie! 45 But as for me, because I tell the truth you don’t believe me. 46 Which one of you can show me where I’m wrong? If I’m telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to ELOHIM listens to what ELOHIM says; the reason you don’t listen is that you don’t belong to ELOHIM.”
48 The Judeans answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying you are from Shomron and have a demon?” 49 YAHUSHUA replied, “Me? I have no demon. I am honoring my Father. But you dishonor me. 50 I am not seeking praise for myself. There is One who is seeking it, and he is the judge. 51 Yes, indeed! I tell you that whoever obeys my teaching will never see death.”
52 The Judeans said to him, “Now we know for sure that you have a demon! Avraham died, and so did the prophets; yet you say, ‘Whoever obeys my teaching will never taste death.’ 53 Avraham avinu died; you aren’t greater than he, are you? And the prophets also died. Who do you think you are?” 54 YAHUSHUA answered, “If I praise myself, my praise counts for nothing. The One who is praising me is my Father, the very one about whom you keep saying, ‘He is our ELOHIM.’ 55 Now you have not known him, but I do know him; indeed, if I were to say that I don’t know him, I would be a liar like you! But I do know him, and I obey his word. 56 Avraham, your father, was glad that he would see my day; then he saw it and was overjoyed.”
57 “Why, you’re not yet fifty years old,” the Judeans replied, “and you have seen Avraham?” 58 YAHUSHUA said to them, “Yes, indeed! Before Avraham came into being, I AM!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to throw at him; but YAHUSHUA was hidden and left the Temple grounds.
9 As YAHUSHUA passed along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His talmidim asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned — this man or his parents — to cause him to be born blind?” 3 YAHUSHUA answered, “His blindness is due neither to his sin nor to that of his parents; it happened so that ELOHIM’s power might be seen at work in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must keep doing the work of the One who sent me; the night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6 Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, put the mud on the man’s eyes, 7 and said to him, “Go, wash off in the Pool of Shiloach!” (The name means “sent.”) So he went and washed and came away seeing.
8 His neighbors and those who previously had seen him begging said, “Isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?” 9 Some said, “Yes, he’s the one”; while others said, “No, but he looks like him.” However, he himself said, “I’m the one.” 10 “How were your eyes opened?” they asked him. 11 He answered, “The man called YAHUSHUA made mud, put it on my eyes, and told me, ‘Go to Shiloach and wash!’ So I went; and as soon as I had washed, I could see.” 12 They said to him, “Where is he?” and he replied, “I don’t know.”
13 They took the man who had been blind to the P’rushim. 14 Now the day on which YAHUSHUA had made the mud and opened his eyes was Shabbat. 15 So the P’rushim asked him again how he had become able to see; and he told them, “He put mud on my eyes, then I washed, and now I can see.” 16 At this, some of the P’rushim said, “This man is not from ELOHIM, because he doesn’t keep Shabbat.” But others said, “How could a man who is a sinner do miracles like these?” And there was a split among them. 17 So once more they spoke to the blind man: “Since you’re the one whose eyes he opened, what do you say about him?” He replied: “He is a prophet.”
18 The Judeans, however, were unwilling to believe that he had formerly been blind, but now could see, until they had summoned the man’s parents. 19 They asked them, “Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How is it that now he can see?” 20 His parents answered, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind; 21 but how it is that he can see now, we don’t know; nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him — he’s old enough, he can speak for himself!” 22 The parents said this because they were afraid of the Judeans, for the Judeans had already agreed that anyone who acknowledged YAHUSHUA as the Messiah would be banned from the synagogue. 23 This is why his parents said, “He’s old enough, ask him.”
24 So a second time they called the man who had been blind; and they said to him, “Swear to ELOHIM that you will tell the truth! We know that this man is a sinner.” 25 He answered, “Whether he’s a sinner or not I don’t know. One thing I do know: I was blind, now I see.” 26 So they said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” 27 “I already told you,” he answered, “and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Maybe you too want to become his talmidim?” 28 Then they railed at him. “You may be his talmid,” they said, “but we are talmidim of Moshe! 29 We know that ELOHIM has spoken to Moshe, but as for this fellow — we don’t know where he’s from!” 30 “What a strange thing,” the man answered, “that you don’t know where he’s from — considering that he opened my eyes! 31 We know that ELOHIM doesn’t listen to sinners; but if anyone fears ELOHIM and does his will, ELOHIM does listen to him. 32 In all history no one has ever heard of someone’s opening the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from ELOHIM, he couldn’t do a thing!” 34 “Why, you mamzer!” they retorted, “Are you lecturing us?” And they threw him out.
35 YAHUSHUA heard that they had thrown the man out. He found him and said, “Do you trust in the Son of GOD?” 36 “Sir,” he answered, “tell me who he is, so that I can trust in him.” 37 YAHUSHUA said to him, “You have seen him. In fact, he’s the one speaking with you now.” 38 “Lord, I trust!” he said, and he kneeled down in front of him.
39 YAHUSHUA said, “It is to judge that I came into this world, so that those who do not see might see, and those who do see might become blind.” 40 Some of the P’rushim nearby heard this and said to him, “So we’re blind too, are we?” 41 YAHUSHUA answered them, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin. But since you still say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.
10 “Yes, indeed! I tell you, the person who doesn’t enter the sheep-pen through the door, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 But the one who goes in through the gate is the sheep’s own shepherd. 3 This is the one the gate-keeper admits, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep, each one by name, and leads them out. 4 After taking out all that are his own, he goes on ahead of them; and the sheep follow him because they recognize his voice. 5 They never follow a stranger but will run away from him, because strangers’ voices are unfamiliar to them.”
6 YAHUSHUA used this indirect manner of speaking with them, but they didn’t understand what he was talking to them about. 7 So YAHUSHUA said to them again, “Yes, indeed! I tell you that I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All those who have come before me have been thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. 9 I am the gate; if someone enters through me, he will be safe and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure.
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand, since he isn’t a shepherd and the sheep aren’t his own, sees the wolf coming, abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf drags them off and scatters them. 13 The hired worker behaves like this because that’s all he is, a hired worker; so it doesn’t matter to him what happens to the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; I know my own, and my own know me — 15 just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father — and I lay down my life on behalf of the sheep. 16 Also I have other sheep which are not from this pen; I need to bring them, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock, one shepherd.
17 “This is why the Father loves me: because I lay down my life — in order to take it up again! 18 No one takes it away from me; on the contrary, I lay it down of my own free will. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it up again. This is what my Father commanded me to do.”
19 Again there was a split among the Judeans because of what he said. 20 Many of them said, “He has a demon!” and “He’s meshugga! Why do you listen to him?” 21 Others said, “These are not the deeds of a man who is demonized — how can a demon open blind people’s eyes?”
This is from Prophecy 105, YAHUVEH said to put this up on all Prophecies from now on: I warned you a long time ago Elisabeth (Elisheva) not to name this Ministry after a man or a woman even before there was a Ministry. I put it in your spirit for none of this has been done by your hand, none of this has come forth from your mouth. It is from the Mouth of YAHUVEH that has given birth. It is from the Mouth of YAHUSHUA your MASHIACH that has given birth. It is from the Mouth of the RUACH ha KODESH your IMMAYAH that has given birth. If it had only been by your hand it would have failed long ago. It is by the SHKHINYAH GLORY’S Wind that blows across this earth, the Holy Wind of Revival, it is not by your breath or it would have failed. (Isaiah 42:8)

Torah Portion: The Blood Makes Atonement For The Soul
Prophecy 63 “Oh Yisrael, Where Is Your Blood Sacrifice?”
YAHUSHUA’s Blood sacrifice is the only human sacrifice that is Holy enough to wash away the sins of all mankind. If mankind will but accept and obey this new Blood Covenant I gave at Calvary through MY Beloved Son YAHUSHUA, this is MY promise to MY faithful children who love YAHUSHUA and accept this new Blood Covenant. As I didn’t leave MY Beloved Son in the tomb, I raised Him from the dead and He ascended into Heaven, so will I do the same for you. All MY Children have to do is receive, believe, love and try your best to obey MY Commandments. Is this so hard?
I speak to those who refuse MY Son YAHUSHUA as MESSIAH. Where is your blood sacrifice? All know there must be a blood sacrifice for the remission of sins. What animal is perfect? What human? None, except MY Beloved Son YAHUSHUA’s. I, YAHUVEH, cancelled the old blood covenant to give mankind a better blood covenant. This is the only way I can forgive your sins. There is no other way to MY throne, for ME to answer your prayers, except through the name YAHUSHUA, through HIS shed Blood at Calvary for the remission of your sins. There is no other intercessor before ME other than MY Son YAHUSHUA. Mohammed can’t save you. Calling upon Abraham can’t save you. Allah can’t save you. Only calling upon the name YAHUSHUA will save you. Study the Torah as I have spoken before through this handmaiden. Those that think keeping the Torah alone will save them must realize all have sinned and fell short of MY Glory [Romans 3:23]. Breaking one commandment is the same as breaking all the commandments. You need a Savior. YAHUSHUA is that Savior.
YAHUSHUA is that Temple. YAHUSHUA is the only Blood Sacrifice I will accept. YAHUSHUA came to Israel as a babe. YAHUSHUA was your Blood Sacrifice. YAHUSHUA is the only Holy Blood sacrifice. Oh Israel, hear ME, YAHUSHUA’s Blood poured into Israel’s soil and yet filled the entire four corners of the earth. Oh Israel, hear ME, because you refuse this new Blood Covenant, I gave it also to the gentiles, grafted them into the branch, waiting for you to repent and accept YAHUSHUA as your MESSIAH. What will it take, oh Israel?
Only the Blood of MY Beloved Son YAHUSHUA who came from the tribe of Judah can be Israel’s Blood Covenant and the whole world’s blood atonement for sins. There is only one sin than cannot be forgiven, rejecting YAHUSHUA and the life and the Blood HE sacrificed at Calvary. Beware, mocking and rejecting the RUACH ha KODESH is blasphemy. There is no remission of this sin.
Accept YAHUSHUA’s life and Blood and [know] through HIS Name is the only remission of sin. I gave you this gift at Calvary; I gave the world this gift. And Israel, on this High Holy day, I, YAHUVEH, speak through this Jewish handmaiden. Oh Israel, you who stoned, tortured, murdered the apostles and prophets, you who killed MY Children I sent to witness to you. Oh Israel, even the blood of the martyrs soak[s] your soil. Only I know oh Israel, how much of your own blood must flow before you accept the only Messiah that can save you.
Do you really want to be judged by the laws I gave Moses, as well as Moses will judge you without any mercy. Since you reject the only intercessor, the only Perfect Lamb of YAHUVEH’s, YAHUSHUA will say to those who depend on the old blood covenant to save you. Those who are depending on this blood covenant, beware! HE will say, “You choose to be judged by the old blood covenant, you will be judged by Moses.” Since none are perfect, woe be onto those who are judged by Moses. None will be spared. Hell and the Lake of Fire will be your eternal home. Everyone is making their reservations for eternity.
No one is guaranteed another second of life. All who are at I, YAHUVEH’s mercy, today is the day of your salvation. Tomorrow may be too late.
Torah Portion: The Scapegoat For Sin and ELOHIM’s Sign Of Acceptance
Prophecy 102 YAHUSHUA Says, “It’s Only A Matter Of Time!”
See, I was only that slain LAMB once. I let the enemy strike MY face. But that was only once! I wore the crown of thorns! I took the humiliation of this earth! But that was only once… I hung on that Cross! I was beaten beyond recognition! I thirsted for you! I thirsted for your unrighteousness! I hungered for you! I was mocked and I was scorned! This (Sukkot) is the time of MY birth on this earth! And how few even acknowledge it! They’ll take a heathen holiday dedicated to another heathen (King Nimrod) straight from the pit of hell and they gave ME that birthday? But on this time of Sukkot, how few honor ME? How few honor the price I paid?…
Oh, but I have MY faithful Bride. I paid the price, but it was only once! It was only once I had to die! And no man took MY life! It was I and only I,YAHUSHUA, that said it is finished! And it was MY time! I did not die in man’s time! I did not arise in man’s time! I arose in YAHUVEH’S time!
Prophecy 95 YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH Says “Pick Up Your Weapon! I AM ALIVE!”
How many I see and they no longer fear. They stay in their sin. They take the communion cup with sinful lips. I am faithful to forgive. But never do this with an unrepentent heart for you’re only drinking damnation. You are only drinking of curses. Come to ME with a repentent heart. Ask ME to forgive you of your sins. I am faithful and I am merciful and just one drop of MY Blood, just one drop of MY Blood can save all of humanity if they had just received ME. Just one drop of MY Blood. And look how much more I gave. This is what I want you to tell them. This is the new Message I give you. This is the Message that is meant to be before the world. This is the only weapon you have. Tell them, “Thus saith YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH,” as you see the weapons pointed at you in so many different directions, lift up the only weapon I have given you.
Those who belong to ME. Those who have given their life to ME. Those who have asked ME to come into their hearts. Those who strive to obey ME. Those who strive to please ME. Those who worship ME and put ME first in their life and their love and in their marriage, lift up this weapon before the enemy. Only MY Name and MY Blood, only through MY Body, can anyone be saved! Only through the Blood of YAHUSHUA your MASHIACH, can anyone be saved! There is no name on the face of this world, on the face of this universe, can anyone be saved but through MY Blood and through the price I paid with MY Body, as I laid MY life down.
YAHUSHUA willingly gave HIS Life on the cross No man took MY life! No man could murder ME! But I willingly gave it. It is I that said, “It is finished.” It is I that commended MY Spirit to leave. But you do not have a clue what I did during this time. You do not have a clue for though yet MY Body died, I did arise. And I made an open show to satan, the once called Lucifer and I let him know and I let all of hell know, I am alive! And I took the keys of hell and death from his hands! And he cannot send anyone to hell unless it was part of MY plan, unless their name is not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world.
And I cannot lose one. I do not lose one. All, all, all whose names are found written in the LAMB’S Book of Life, before the foundation of this earth, all, all, all, all shall be in Heaven. The ones whose names are blotted out! As they betrayed ME in Heaven, they betray ME on earth. But even that name was blotted out before the foundation of this earth. As they betrayed ME in Heaven they betray ME on earth. All of you work out your own salvation with fear and trembling for your soul knows where you will go. You’re only repeating what’s already been done.
Torah Portion: The Removal of Sin
Prophecy 82 Last Call For The Bride
She stands there in sparkling white, Holy and undefiled. This is the Bride that I come for; she is in this world but not of this world. There is a difference between her and others who shun her holiness. Others who are not of MY Spirit, others mock her holiness, for she refuses to take part of the sins in this world. She is faithful, holy to ME, she does not compromise with sin, she does not see how far she can lean over hell before she falls in it. She wants no part of hell. She wants no part of satan, she wants no part of satan’s vices. The peace that she longs for, she only turns to ME, the Prince of Peace.
Now see this vision. It now changes. Now the enemy of your soul beholds MY Holy Bride and says, ‘I must defile her, she cannot stand there without spot or wrinkle.’ So he puts a cigarette in her mouth, so she has the stench of smoke. He puts the intoxicating beverages in her hands, so she staggers around like a drunk. Now behold MY Bride, where pornography has been put into her hands, the enemy says, “Don’t worry, no one can see this secret, just hide.” Now MY Bride, that once was so holy, has been so defiled. So I turn away, for I cannot come for a Bride like this.
MY Bride does not have the stench of a cigarette. MY Bride does not stagger like a drunk. MY Bride does not read porn behind the doors. That is a false bride and I only accept the genuine. So I give you a choice, for the only fragrance anyone around you should smell is the fragrance of MY anointing oil, the perfume I have given you. Your garments cannot be without holiness, the garments of MY righteousness clothe you, they cannot have even a spot or a wrinkle. They cannot have any reason for this world to accuse you of sin.
Do you not realize, what your eyes behold, MY eyes behold? Do you not realize, your bodies are the Temple of the RUACH ha KODESH? Do not be deceived, for sin can have no part in thee.
Can you picture a Bride standing there in sparkling white? Now can you picture that gown with nicotine stains? I do not put MY Children; I do not put MY Bride in bondage. Can you picture MY Bride where every word that proceeds out of her mouth is Holy? Now can you picture the stench of alcohol on her breath? Her fingers stained with nicotine? Can you picture MY Bride standing there Holy, only wanting to behold the beauty of ME? Now can you picture the same Bride, behind closed doors she hides, with lust in her eyes, as she looks at porn, her mind filled with filth?
Away from ME, do not dare call yourself MY Bride, that doesn’t mean you weren’t called, it just means I will not accept you if you cannot stand before MY Father as an Esther, Holy and pure and obedient before ME and MY Father YAHUVEH. Can you picture MY Bride standing there before ME in sparkling white, every word that proceeds out of her mouth again is Holy with Praises on her lips for ME, every word full of adoration and love. Now picture that same one standing before ME with curses upon her lips, foul language that comes as though it comes from a sewer. Does not MY Word say out of your heart your mouth does speak? Do not make excuses why you curse. Every word that proceeds out of your mouth, every word that proceeds out of MY Bride’s mouth must be Holy.
I AM FURIOUS!!!
How much you love ME, you can gauge on how much of a desire for Holiness that you have, for that is what I look at. My Bride will not prostitute herself before other Gods, but I and MY Father YAHUVEH will be number one. I and MY Father are ONE. Remember this when you want to know, “YAHUSHUA, am I your Bride? Answer it for yourself. I have a high standard for Holiness for MY Bride.
“YAHUVEH spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron who died when they approached YAHUVEH.” (Leviticus 16:1)
Last week’s combined Torah portion, Tazria-Metzora, discussed the laws of tumah -impurity and taharah purity.
This week’s double portion of Scripture begins with YAH’s warnings about entering the Kedosh Ha Kedoshim -Holy of Holies after the death (acharei mot) of Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron who perished when they brought “strange fire” before ELOHIM.
In this Parasha, it seems that YAH is trying to prevent any more “accidental deaths” due to well-meaning Israelites coming too close to the holiness of ELOHIM.
During this time, the Holy of Holies was placed behind a thick, heavy curtain or veil in front of the atonement cover on the Ark. There the ELOHIM appeared in a cloud:
“YAHUVEH said to Moses: ‘Tell your brother Aaron that he is not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place behind the curtain in front of the atonement cover on the ark, or else he will die.’” (Leviticus 16:2)
Not just anyone could enter this most innermost sanctuary, but only the High Priest -Cohen HaGadol and even then only one day out of the entire year—on the Day of Atonement Yom Kippur.
This is a striking contrast to the unlimited access that Believers in YAHUSHUA now have to the very throne of the Almighty GOD under the New Covenant.
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, YAHUSHUA the Son of YAHUVEH, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.” (Hebrews 4:14–15)
When YAHUSHUA died without sin as an offering for sin, Heaven itself rent its garment in grief, as is the Jewish mourning custom of a father who loses a son.
“And YAHUSHUA cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up HIS spirit. And behold, the veil of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.” (Matthew 27:50–51)
Now that final atonement has been made through YAHUSHUA and the veil is torn, every man, woman or child can have continual access to ELOHIM.
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
The Connection Between the Azazel and YAHUSHUA
The first section of the Torah portion -Acharei Mot describes the Yom Kippur offering of two goats: one for the offering and the other as the scapegoat called the Azazel [עֲזָאזֵל] in Hebrew.
“But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before YAHUVEH to be used for making atonement by sending it into the wilderness as a scapegoat.” (Leviticus 16:10)
Lots would be cast over two goats—one of which would be offered to ELOHIM as a sin offering.
The High Priest would lay his hands upon the other goat, symbolically laying all the sins of Israel upon the Azazel. The goat would then be banished into the wilderness, carrying away the sins of Israel along with it.
“He is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites—all their sins—and put them on the goat’s head. He shall send the goat away into the wilderness in the care of someone appointed for the task. The goat will carry on itself all their sins to a remote place; and the man shall release it in the wilderness.”
The scapegoat’s carrying away of sin is a beautiful picture of what is described in Isaiah 53:
“We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and YAH has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6)
Just as this scapegoat took the sins of the Jewish People and carried them away into the wilderness, so did YAHUSHUA carry away our sins.
When Yochanan the Immerser -John the Baptist saw YAHUSHUA coming to the Jordan River, he said, “Hinei seh ha’Elohim, hanoseh chatat ha’olam -Here is the Lamb of ELOHIM who carries away the sins of the world.” (John 1:29)
Once we begin to see these Scriptures in their Hebraic context, not only do they make more sense but they also bring a richness to our faith that we cannot have without this understanding of its Jewish roots.
The Hebrew term l’azazel in this Parasha means either for absolute removal or to Azazel -a name. Azazel has been translated scapegoat in the King James Bible, but the Septuagint translates it the sent away or the sent away one.
The book of Enoch one of the books of the Apocrypha mentions Azazel as one of the chief of a group of fallen angels who married women. These angels were responsible for the increase of violence and wickedness.
There is a similar account in Genesis that refers to women marrying “sons of the ELOHIM,”
“That the sons of ELOHIM saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. … There were giants in the earth in those days; and also afterward, when the sons of ELOHIM came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” (Genesis 6:2–4)
According to the Book of Enoch, this fallen angel, Azazel, is to be cast into the lake of fire on the Day of Judgment because of his corrupt influence upon the people of the earth:
“On the day of the great judgment he shall be cast into the fire. … The whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin.” (1 Enoch 10:7–8)
YAHUSHUA not only carried away all of our sins as the scapegoat, he bore the wrath of ELOHIM for all of the sins of the world.
We can be so thankful that YAHUSHUA the Messiah took upon Himself all the sin and corruption of the world. Whether the source of sin is called Azazel or Satan, YAHUSHUA bore that curse for us so that we can come to YAH’s holy throne clothed in righteousness.
“The Messiah redeemed us from the curse pronounced in the Torah by becoming cursed in our place; for the Tanakh says, ‘Everyone who hangs from a stake comes under a curse.’”
YAHUSHUA Fulfilled Yom Kippur
“This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: Atonement is to be made once a year for all the sins of the Israelites.” (Leviticus 16:34)
ELOHIM instituted Yom Kippur -the Day of Atonement as a lasting ordinance to be observed throughout all generations.
Since the destruction of the Temple, however, the required Yom Kippur offering can no longer be presented to ELOHIM.
The Call to Be Holy
Contained within this Parasha are warnings against the consumption of blood and unlawful sexual relations such as incest, homosexuality, bestiality, and sexual intercourse with a woman during her monthly menstrual cycle.
All of these sexual deviations and perversions are detestable to ELOHIM and cause the Land to become defiled. In fact, this Torah portions explains that these sins were among the reasons why ELOHIM “vomited” the people out of the Land.
“Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled… And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.” (Leviticus 18:24, 28)
We understand from this that YAH required morality or holiness from the Canaanites, as well as the Hebrews. He requires the same for all nations today.
The Laws of Holiness
The Kedoshim portion of the reading continues with commandments -mitzvot that are related to holiness or sanctification.
ELOHIM asks that we be holy just as He is: “You shall be holy, for I, YAHUVEH your ELOHIM, am holy.” (Leviticus 19:2)
The word kedoshim comes from the root k-d-sh (קדש), which means holy, set apart, or sanctified.
But we are not left to our own imagination about what holiness looks or acts like. ELOHIM connects it to specific attitudes and actions.
Part of being holy is honoring our parents. In fact, one of the first of these mitzvot is the command to respect one’s mother and father. And it seems there is no time limit on this. In other words, we don’t stop honoring our parents when we turn 16, 18, 21 or 40.
This law is followed by the command to keep the Sabbath holy.
Other mitzvot include the giving of charity, being honest in business dealings, and keeping life sacred.
We can see that disrespect toward parents, rebellion against authority, homosexuality and other sexual perversions, abortion, corruption in business, and the profaning of the Sabbath are becoming more and more commonplace in our day.
Is it any wonder that YAH’s judgment is falling upon the nations?
The Entire Law Is Love
Although there are many commandments in the Torah that are for our good and designed to protect holiness, the central law they all boil down to is the following command written in this week’s Parasha: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Leviticus 19:18)
YAHUSHUA HaMashiach , as a Torah observant Jew well aware of Jewish teachings, echoed the Jewish sages who came before Him when He said,
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”
While many Believers think that keeping the Torah is no longer required and too hard to do anyway, the reality that ELOHIM’s laws are so important that they have been written on our hearts. (Jeremiah 31:30–34 [31–33])
Moreover, we have the RUACH HA KODESH living inside us who convicts us when we behave without YAH’s love.
HIS RUACH empowers us to conduct ourselves in a way that fulfills HIS commandments, just as YAHUSHUA did.
“ELOHIM’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the RUACH HAKODESH, who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5)
Each of us should live and act in a way that exemplifies HIS work in us.
“Hear the word of YAHUVEH, you nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands: ‘HE who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over HIS flock like a shepherd.” (Jeremiah 31:10)
For those who receive HIS son YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH.
“You will again have compassion on us; You will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7:19)
